Pay or Contest Tickets
District Court traffic trials are listed for the first and third Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in D12. DUI traffic dockets occur Fridays as scheduled by the judge at 1:00 p.m. in D12. Regular first court dates and continuances are Fridays at 9:00 a.m. in D18, and attorney cases are heard at 11:00 a.m. in D18. Diversion questions go to the District Attorney at 913-573-2851.

A person who misses a traffic date can face a bench warrant, added costs, or license consequences, so the safest path is to contact the court named on the ticket before the date passes.
Correcting Traffic Record Errors
If a traffic record appears wrong, start with the court that entered the disposition. The court can confirm whether the citation number, plea, fine, cost, warrant recall, or diversion status is correct in the court file.
